The Beijing International Running Festival - Beijing Half Marathon 2026 concluded on April 12. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Beijing International Running Festival and the 10th anniversary of the Beijing Half Marathon.

The “Olympic Culture Caravan,” co-designed by the Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA) and Beijing Tourism Group, showed up at the finish line of the event. The caravan presented Olympic-themed images and text, offered interactive experiences, and displayed a variety of cultural and creative products. It enabled runners and visitors to experience firsthand the charm of the dual Olympic culture, enriching the event with Olympic vibe.

Xia Rihong, Deputy Secretary General of the Beijing Olympic City Development Association and Deputy Director of the Beijing Olympic City Development Center, said that the caravan’s appearance at the Beijing Half Marathon was carefully planned in light of the scenario value, audience relevance, and cultural resonance. The goal is to give runners and other citizens a taste of the unique charm and glory of the dual Olympic city and enhance their sense of cultural identity, belonging, and pride in the city.

It is learned that the “Olympic Culture Caravan” will be featured regularly as a mobile tour vehicle to bring the dual Olympic culture closer to more people, empower the integrated development of culture, commerce, sports, tourism, and exhibitions, and promote Olympic city development.
