The Beijing Olympic City Development Center, as a co-organizer of the Joy Run, assembled about 200 people involved in the Olympic Games Beijing 2008 or the Beijing 2022 Games to participate in the Joy Run. Themed “Run for the Olympic City,” the event created a vibrant atmosphere for taking part, enjoying running and jointly building the dual Olympic city.

Following its debut at the Beijing Half Marathon Expo 2026 on April 9 and 10, the “Olympic Culture Caravan” also showed up at today’s event, drawing a lot of runners and visitors to take photos. The 50-seat, bus-turned “Olympic Culture Caravan,” designed and modified by BODA and Beijing Tourism Group, aims to offer an immersive experience with the dual Olympic culture and encourage the people to share the Olympic culture and carry forward the Olympic spirit.
