The “Olympic Culture Caravan” is a converted tour vehicle that showcases Olympic-themed images and text, Olympic memorabilia, and cultural and creative products. Visitors can also take photos and buy cultural and creative products on board. It is designed to offer an immersive experience with the Olympic culture, allow the people to feel the charm of the Olympics, and encourage them to share the Olympic culture and carry forward the Olympic spirit.

According to the host BODA, this initiative aims to address the last-mile challenges in Olympic culture communication. First, it brings the dual Olympic culture out of the “fixed spaces” of museums and exhibition halls, integrating it into public settings and presenting it directly to the public. Second, it shatters the public’s notion that Olympic culture is merely a historical memory, turning the Olympic spirit into a dynamic force that fuels city development and encourages sport participation. Third, it serves as a movable, replicable, and expandable cultural communication platform, making the dissemination of the dual Olympic culture more flexible, impactful, and enduring.

The “Olympic Culture Caravan” makes its debut at this year’s expo and will remain on display until April 10. It will show up at the Joy Run of the Beijing International Running Festival on April 11 and will be present at the finish line of the Beijing International Running Festival and the Beijing Half Marathon on April 12 to promote the dual Olympic culture in an immersive way. Here, you can snap a photo, engage with the exhibits, and bring home your favorite cultural and creative products. Come and have fun!
