After appreciating the exhibition, the villagers went to the village’s Party member activity room to watch the Olympic themed documentary Antelope of the Plateau – China’s First Tibetan Olympic Champion Qieyang Shijies Journey in Pursuit of Her Dream. This film, recommended by the 21st Beijing International Sports Film Week, received the Guirlande d’Honneur Award, the highest award in the “Olympic Games and Paralympic Spirit  Shorts” category, at the 43rd Milano International FICTS Fest global finals in Milan, Italy. The film tells the story of Qieyang Shijie, China’s first Tibetan Olympic champion, throughout her journey from the plateau to the world stage. It documents her true story of overcoming her limits during high-altitude training and winning glory for the country, and demonstrates China’s sporting spirit of striving for national glory, dedication, scientific realism, law-abiding conduct, and coordination, and hard work.
