On August 11, the 19^th Beijing International Sports Film Week and the recommendation of shortlisted films for the 41^st Sport Movies & TV (Beijing Leg), under the theme of “Dual Olympic Dreams in Images,” was held in Beijing. Nine professional judges gathered together to evaluate the candidate productions and selected 18 shortlisted works.

This year’s Beijing International Sports Film Week received a total of 222 entries. After preliminary evaluation, 46 of them were recommended as excellent works and will feature the upcoming poster exhibition.

In the final evaluation, the judges discussed the films’ sportsmanship, artistic expression, and originality, and made detailed analysis of each production, in an effort to select the most touching sport stories.

In the final round of evaluation, 18 productions were selected to be shortlisted for the 41^st Sport Movies & TV in Milan in compliance with the Works Selection Rules of Beijing International Sports Film Week and Sport Movies & TV (Beijing Leg). The shortlisted works will be officially announced on September 8, 2023, and a screening will be staged for participants of the Beijing 2022 Games.
