The Beijing Olympic City Physical Culture Festival Is Going to Curtain-up in August and the Park Volley Will Be Introduced

Beijing Times (Liu Xuhui, Reporter) The Fourth Beijing Olympic City Physical Culture Festival, with the theme of “fashion •sports”, is going to curtain-up in the Olympic Park in early August. The sports events include ironman triathlon, park volley, juvenile football, national brisk walk and etc.

The “park volley” is introduced for the first time in this culture festival, and on the occasion, the “Chinese Open Tournament of Park Volley” will be launched jointly by Inter Sports and China Volleyball Association. Eight male and female teams in total will take part in the match, including the youth teams of the clubs, such as Beijing Youth Male Volleyball Team, Beijing Youth Female Volleyball Team, Bayi Youth Male Volleyball Team and Bayi Youth Female Volleyball Team, and the college teams from Peking University, Tsinghua University and other universities. “Park Volley” is a sport event integrating entertainment with fierce competition with simple rules.
